This is Juhui Kim, an illustrator and graphic designer based in Seoul and Hamburg. Since 2021, I’ve been running a one-person publishing house called “mushRoom.” From there, I create virtual characters inspired by the atypical and unpredictable characteristics of plants, bringing their stories to life through art books, posters and goods. These characters are portrayed with honesty, revealing their true feelings and preferences, free from the constraints of external standards and evaluation.
