BeHyunsil is a Seoul-based independent publishing imprint run by Seoyul, a graphic designer. The name carries dual meanings: ‘unreal’ (非現實) and ‘to be real’ (Be+現實).
Through graphical zines and artist publications, BeHyunsil explores contemporary issues and local communities through visual archiving and design research. Beginning with Seoyul’s own work and expanding to collaborations with artists and designers, the imprint combines diverse visual languages with risograph printing.
