Books for Community Agreement 2026
A selection of books that invite readers to learn about, reflect on, and engage in dialogue around the community agreement proposed by Pages. For the 2026 edition, we welcome Kazuhisa Toba—a writer and educator who also runs the learning space Tojinmachi Terakoya and the bookstore Torakitsune—as our guest selector, presenting a newly curated lineup.
In addition, past selections will be available as an archive, including those curated in 2024 by Yuzuru Murakami (critic) and Isamu Ishii (MINOU BOOKS), as well as the 2025 selection by Misa Masuda (LIBRIS KOBACO). A total of 55 titles can be browsed in the rest area inside Yokoden.
